DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD HOLDERS

As you may have heard, there has been a computer security breach at TJX Companies regarding debit and credit card information which includes any information that the company stored in their computers for the last several years. Norfolk Credit Union is taking proactive measures to protect our members.

We will automatically block your debit and/or credit card and reissue a new card if we receive notification that your card number has been compromised. The “blocked card” status will ensure that no fraudulent transactions are placed on your card. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use the card until you receive your new card in the mail. Please review your statements for any suspicious or unauthorized activity and report it to us immediately. We regret deeply any difficulties this may cause you.
